Op Sceptre - tackling knife crime

This week Cleobury and Highley Safer Neighbourhood Team are supporting Op Sceptre, a national campaign to tackle knife crime.

We know locally knife crime is relatively low compared to other areas, however, we’re not complacent and continue to take action to stop people from carrying a knife in the first place.

Today we visited shops in Cleobury and Highley to check whether they were displaying Challenge 25 posters. Where posters were missing or outdated, we provided new ones for staff to display. Several shops already had the correct signage in place, and those without were supplied with replacements to ensure compliance.
